Comunicare la trasformazione
Communicating Transformation
2015
The communication tools of territorial, urban, and architectural transformation play a decisive role in the transformative outcome: through the description and interpretation of ongoing changes, they enable a critical assessment that guides design intervention. 17 Itineraries of 20th-Century Italian Architecture

The volume gathers heterogeneous contributions from various authors as interdisciplinary reflections, with the aim of restoring to the path itself—in its various interpretations—significant aesthetic, formal, and social values, integrating it into the architectural work as part of the broader urban and territorial transformation.
Raffaello Franci, architetto francescano
Raffaello Franci, Franciscan Architect
2018
Raffaello Franci (1887-1963) combines the religious dedication of a Franciscan friar with an assiduous activity as an architect, designing a significant number of churches, religious complexes and institutes in Italy and abroad. The volume, based on the recognition of the territory, mainly Tuscan, of the works built and of the original archival and documentary material of archives, intends to make known the architect father Franci, as a relevant figure in the realization of many places of traditional custom.
Architettura per la Cultura
Architecture for Culture
2018
Architecture, itself an expression of culture and of cultures—of places, knowledge, identities, and plurality—is a way of supporting and giving inclusive physical form to all the cultural aspects of a society. The volume gathers the study proceedings and aims to encourage reflection on the two-way, circular relationship between cultures – architecture – culture, focusing on spaces dedicated to the arts, education, and musealization, through to open spaces as promoters of exchange and social relations.
Architettura è felicità
Architecture Is Happiness
2021
The volume, a collection of the proceedings of the seventh edition of 3gA, aims to reveal the dialogue between the concrete and the ephemeral, between Architecture and happiness—terms that denote two of the most deeply felt needs of humankind. Architecture, which evokes concreteness, something that engages all the positive capacities of humankind. Happiness, the metaphor of time slipping away, made of instants, of moments in which the external world that stimulated it disappears.
Architettura e nomadismo
Architecture and Nomadism
2022
Architecture evokes concreteness, shelter, and protection, engaging human capabilities from design to construction and conservation. Linking this concept to nomadism may seem unusual, but the growing desire to travel and reinvent spaces—both living and working—is evident. Moreover, there are motivations linked to necessity, such as fleeing wars and disasters. Architecture can improve the relationship with space and with new lifestyles, expressing an idea shared by many cultures: neo-nomadism.
